About Rachel
I can guide you out of fight or flight into a calmer, more purposeful life.
I’m Rachel, a certified coach who spent decades experiencing complex trauma (CPTSD) and OCD – I was triggered all the time, dropping into Fight, Flight, Fawn or Freeze at the most inopportune moments. Worse still, in my forties, I developed several chronic illnesses – I felt like there was no way out.
What I didn’t understand then was how deeply connected my physical health was to the state of my nervous system. I learned that in order to recover, I needed to heal my body and my mind at the same time. Years of living in fight-or-flight had taken a toll on my body, and years of unhealthy food and long hours behind a desk was impacting my mind. It wasn’t until I began to understand how trauma was generating my daily behaviours… really understand it, that things started to shift. As my nervous system healed, so did my body.
I’m also autistic, though you’d be unlikely to know it. I masked effectively for decades, as many women do. It wasn’t until I saw my own children displaying the same traits I’d had as a child that everything clicked into place. That recognition changed everything… for me and for the way I work with clients. My neurodiversity is deeply connected to my empathy and intuition and I’m incredibly grateful for that.
Once I decoded a path through trauma recovery, it felt natural to share it. So I retrained as a coach, and I’ve been helping other women like me ever since. Women who feel everything deeply, who have spent years holding it together for everyone else, and who are quietly desperate for a way out of survival mode.
If that’s you, you’re in the right place.
Of course, I’m happy to help the gentlemen too!
I can help you with:
- Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

Certifications and Experience
Certified Coach, Level 4
Graduated from The Expert Coach Programme run by Ed JC Smith, an internationally recognised coach and trainer.
Neurodiversity Coach - In Progress
I’m currently studying Neurodiversity Coaching. The course is accredited by the ICAHP, IPHM, CMA, CPD, and NCCAP. Many of my clients, like myself, are neurodiverse, so developing a deeper understanding in this area feels like an important and valuable addition to my coaching work.
Recovered from CPTSD & OCD
After years of research and personal experimentation, I found my way out of CPTSD and OCD. Because I’ve lived through it myself, I understand what it feels like and how to guide someone through the process of recovery.
Awakened Spiritual Teacher
As your nervous system settles and fight or flight loosens its grip, something else often begins to emerge. Empaths and HSPs frequently notice their intuition sharpening, their sensitivity deepening, and a sense of something larger opening up. I've walked that path myself. If that's starting to happen for you, this is a safe place to explore it.
